Change is hard because our brains are wired to resist it. We subconsciously perceive change as a threat, which activates a stress response that can make us fearful, anxious, and defensive.
Change also challenges our comfort zones, habits, and routines that we have developed over time, and that makes our lives easier and more predictable.
Change requires us to learn new skills, adapt to new situations, or cope with ambiguity, which can be exhausting and overwhelming without the right mindset or support.
Learning how to deal with change in a positive and productive way is essential to personal fulfillment and thriving. Some ways to do that are:

Change can be hard, but it can also be rewarding and satisfying. Recognize your efforts and reflect on your successes to reinforce the positive behaviors that enabled you to become change-ready and resilient!
